1199 Ducati 899 - 959 - 1199 - 1299 Modifications - What Have You Done To Yours?

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Rob Jarvis, Jun 30, 2015.

  1. What swing arm protector is it :) I converted recently

  2. I’m going to check everything over and get some photos ready to put on eBay later. It it only a few months old, so I won’t be exactly giving it away (well, compared to Ducati I will!)

Ducati Performance one with the DP shark fin as well. I need to clean them up and check them over later. I’ll probably be putting it up for about half of rrp.

  3. Any pics :)

  4. Collected this yesterday.
Doesn't need much in the way of mods as it's pretty well loaded. Needed a sided stand (massive thanks to Simon for that) started an oil and filter change today. That bloody ACU compliant belly pan will NOT be going back on!

Be interested to know how you feel it rides compared to the 1200 748 you normally run

  9. Wicked :upyeah:

  10. Got it from the chap who bought it last year from NWR. He used it for a couple of Sunday rides and 2 Spanish trips.
Prop only thing it could use is some lighter wheels.
    Couple more pics.

  11. I confess to knowing bugger all about these bikes,so lots of dumb questions to follow!

  12. For some very strange reason my screen went all white and sticky as I was going through the list of mods...

  14. Let the fun begin!
    First job exhaust ??

  15. Nah suspension first.

Get some Ohlins Gold thrown on there

  16. Already bought a 1299 exhaust from a chap on here. Put one on my last 959z

Having a dilemma at the moment. Go full trioptions race spec k-tech stuff, or stick with the traditional gold (edit to say the 959 ohlins forks are black, not gold...). Going to sit on it for a few weeks and do a bit of googling.

Until then I’ll be stripping it down, wrapping up all the road fairings, and putting all the bits and pieces I stole off of the 1299 onto it....
