  8. He must have a lot of spare time to be doing tyre lettering, I admire his patience and attention to detail even the rotation arrow and smaller lettering.

  9. And is that a 1198 swing arm wheel combination or 848 small hub?

6 point wheel nut not 12??

  10. you running a 996 loom ecu and 1198 Throttle bodies? The TPS runs the opposite direction...

  11. its a 1.6 ecu + loom 996 twin injector throttle body

i need an ecu because my friend broke the potentiometer next to the eprom chip!!

  12. You not running a 1198 motor then?

  13. well spotted!! im running a 848 rear wheel and hub at the moment, that was so i could have a 180 profile rear end!

    (better for conering)

an honest mistake! (it has been in the shed for 5 years lol

  14. You need a 1098 rs rear swinger ttx and rs rocker....
You could run a 200 60 rear tyre then... proper better for cornering

  15. not yet! way back when i started this build the main drive of the build was the suspention update and all the problems that brought with it!

changing the swing arm was easy! but the rear shock then fouls the exhaust, and the pivot rocker no longer works. (the 1198/848 rocker makes the bike sit like a lowrider lol )

  16. haha.....just bored and waiting for parts to turn up......also an excuse to be in the mancave and away from my little boy who (due to lockdown) has in my opinion LOST THE PLOT! (hes 5.5) going on 15 lol

  17. anyway....back on point!

the problem now is whilst trying to start she missfires in the front throttlebody.

and i know (air leak) ive been over the fuel system with a fine toothcomb, replaced the inner tank hoses and fuel pump and filter, rebuilt the throttle body, checked the inlet manifolds, done the belts and re shimmed the valves and even replaced and reseated the valves and cleaned up the heads.....the ignition sensor was replaced and air gap set. new battery installed. so the ecu is all thats left to explain the problem im having.

  18. im not a fan of wheel rim tape.....once im back on the road the tires wont last long so its something that will not be on her for long lol

  19. the other site im on people have had loads of problems with motor cases cracking at the swingarm pivot point!
i will look into this mod but at a later date!
