As above, this is the newer style 16m type frame. It also slightly differs from the 748r frame...as is lightly revised and stronger. Top tubes welded slightly different. *Top pic 998 subframe, bottom is a 748r* Suitable for all 916 shape bikes with a 16m style ecu (smaller type) Mint condition. £205 posted. *top pic is a stock photo of the same item, however will be exactly the same..just less any fittings.
It is, the 996r and 998r both ran the later spec subframes (16m style) rather than the earlier p6 style. Ducati never felt the need to make a different frame to suit the new ecu position so opted to simply use a design they already had.
