Ducati Battery Charger

  1. This is the correct one. Also you can build your own with a sicma connector if you know what you are doing. It is easy and going to cost very little.

  2. If you have the older black Ducati branded charger do yourself a favour and chuck it in the bin, they are shite, killed two batteries on my 1200R before I found it was faulty. Go for a C-Tek or Noco Genius.

  3. I have a CTEK charger, got an alert from the tracker to say the battery was getting low, so connected directly to battery and charged overnight. Is there a way I could connect to the socket under rear seat with an appropriate adapter? Not sure if that socked has a supply directly to the battery
     
  4. Optimate do cables to suit.
     
  5. All sorted. Bought an optimate SAE battery connector. Charger works fine. Maybe have been lucky with that, and it connects and works on the GS too, got the same connector on that.
     
  6. Hope not. I never want to see the battery again. A sod to get at, though much faster second time around. Dont ask!
