Get 'em when their young. If Ducati are a well cool brand, kids will want to own a part of it. And some of them will grow up wanting to actually own the bike. Wouldn't you aged 10? Mind you, the pencil sharpener might be a mistake. Do children these days use pencils enough to ever blunt them? Ducati iPad cover would be a better bet.
I can appreciate the "Get 'em when they're young" comment. makes sense to me. But these are the wrong products in my view. This is just tat. Quality tat, but tat nonetheless.
I'm with Duke 63 - I find the Ducati aftershave/perfume, and the extensive promotion thereof at WDW2012 the ultimate in branding naffness - one step way too far down the Ferrari route to utter debasement of the brand. The prices of the pencils etc make me wince, but I have less objection to the concept than El Toro.
I saw Ducati wine, It's probably old sump oil they've collected after many years of scaring owners into thinking they have to have their bikes serviced every 1000 miles!
Don't show my son that, he'll be all over it. Ducati was listed in the top 25 Brands in recent review. I'll dig it out and post later
fekks-sake....its harley davidson all over again.. you mark my words..its only a matter of time before they sell a cat pish concoction bottled as Ducati After Shave....just wait.. fkn pathetic.. HD make more money from all the fashion shite than from selling bikes...ducati will end up in the same place..shame really.. i might buy some shares.
