A brand new Ducati Chronograph Watch in the Total Black edition. A very smart watch that I bought for myself with a voucher for £169 at this years Motorcycle Live show at the NEC. I already have a enough watches so thought id let it go if anybody would like it for £150 delivered. It has never been worn and comes with warranty certificate, box etc.
There you are, I've redressed the balance. It is a nice watch and I have a strong feeling that AlfG and I share an indiscipline where watches are concerned. Andy
Yes, I do like watches, and most things Ducati, and with a voucher burning a hole in my pocket the two combined was a bit of an impulse buy. A very nice watch though. The watch is now sold!!
I don't wear a watch, not done for 20 years or so. I do have my late fathers 3/4 sized 1952 Gold Rolex in a drawer.
I would have likened your Rolex to a Hassleblad rather than a Nikon or a Canon. Watches are as personal as shoes, a suit of clothes, the choice of a car or the bike(s) you ride. Does it matter what it costs so long as it fulfills the function you want ? I prefer to wear M&S jeans, loafers and a baggy jumper at work and at play. The only jewellery I wear is a watch and I'm sorry, a £3 watch from Tescos does not cut the mustard . Andy
