I’ve been using the Ducati Connect app for a while now and after some initial teething problems I seem to have got it working ok. I mainly use it to listen to music. My main issue is the way it drains the phone battery, a 2 hr ride lost me nearly 50%. I suppose the answer is to have the phone plugged in and use the phone pocket but I’d really prefer to keep the phone inside my jacket. If you activate the Synergic app then it’s even worse. Anyone else noticed this?
You are the first person I now know of, who has persevered with the App. Many people who have posted about the App, can't get past the flakyness so the battery draining issue you are experiencing probably hasn't manifested itself. I'm not surprised though, my buds tend to drain my phone battery. Andy
I have to say I'm tempted to just resort to connecting the phone directly to my headset (as I always used to) when I'm on a longer tour.
Avoid, if you understood the way it's been written, you'd understand it's a hot pile of shit and isn't even considered safe. Ducati will never learn with their app.
