748 Ducati Corse Slipper Question...

Discussion in '748 / 916 / 996 / 998' started by Chris.King1, May 13, 2019.

  1. Looking at purchasing one of these...part no. 96845505B.

I'm presuming it has the M20 centre nut? Can't find any info/seller can't tell me.

Advertised it fits all dry clutches, but later Ducati had different size nut, although should be interchangeable?

  2. Most slippers came with two centre nuts. M20 for the 748/998 bikes and M25 for the 998 rs bikes, 1098 and 1198.

  3. Thanks, that was my thought. Just need to source a decent set if plates for the slipper

  4. for a more reliable slipper i would go with a stm 48 tooth basket and plates..

  5. I did look at STM, but my bike only does 300 miles max a year on the road and had the same one before with no probs. Couldn't justify STM price, all be it they are great. Ducati one cost £400, also got new aluminium coolant too, so kind of used up the STM budget.
