Ducati Dealer Labour Rates...

  1. ive seen good specialists charge around 50 plus vat... how much is a reputable dealer and what the difference on and off season as i heard that their prices are reduced during the colder months?

  2. Riders £93/hr. Moto Rapido £78. Those are two that I know of.

  3. Is that inc vat?

  4. Italia Moto apply winter rates all year round for pre-2003 bikes since last year. This was welcome news as my 749 is 2003 and went in for belts and the lot. :)

  5. thats good to know...whats their rate or PM if prefer to

  6. Can't remember TBH but their work is second to none, I've been quite happy with them but have often heard good things about Adam @ V-Duo in Lincoln too. I use Italia as I like the people and they treat their customers well.

  11. Pro Twins charge £55 +VAT (£66 inc VAT) per hour. They are a Ducati dealer and charge the same price all year round.

  12. My local Ducati dealer, Seastar, are £60 and hour plus VAT and the price doesnt change during the year.....the lead time on booking does though as its maxed out this time of year (3-4 weeks to prebook a job) but down to a few days in winter when only a few of us on Ducatis are still riding ;)

  13. Thats interesting. it was supplied and serviced by ducati london south and has a few parts invoices from pro twins which

  14. :upyeah:

  15. Snells of Alton were charging £58 + Vat per hour last year. Not sure about this year. That looks reasonable to me. £93 ph doesn't.

  16. Including (I think.. In the case of the £93 I didn't stick around to find out..)
£93 inc. is still £75 ex VAT. That is too much but you'll be lucky to find a large workshop for less than £50 ex.

  17. One thing I must say for Moto Rapido on their £78/hr, they don't round everything up to the hour. If it takes half an hour that's what they charge. Many don't. When they fitted my new instrument panel they didn't charge for the diagnostics because it took 5 minutes (another dealer had said there was a minimum hour's charge). At the finish they rounded the bill down rather than up so hourly rates aren't the full story.

  18. Spoke to rapido and at least on the parts side very impressed. They do a reduced rate for 3 months a year
