Ducati Desmosedici fuel tank. In excellent all round condition with no dents scratches or damage. I think these are about £3k new from Ducati. To be fair it’s still cheap, if you own a desmo and have some money left I’d be snapping that up if you intend keeping the bike ...nothing wrong with making money...it’s a £1900 saving on a new one so hardly exploiting it to its fulllest, I’d be sticking up on a classified at £1700 at least and wait for offers from abroad probably
There were plenty of watchers on the tank but I was the only one to bid. I got it at a very good price fair and square. On the face of it, it may look as I’m being greedy, but I’ve bought quite a few rare and exotic bike parts in the past and the reality of it is that I accept that I may be sat on it for quite a long time, so see it as an investment. The Desmosedici is rare bike and I will need someone to need that tank before I can sell it. At some point someone will need a tank, that might be next week or in two years time and when they do even at the price I’m asking they will get a very good deal and I will realise my investment.
I was watching it, but decided not to bid. It would have been anoter part I'd never use stuck in the loft.
