Does anyone have the software and lead I need to adjust my c0 on my 1198 or can anyone tell me where to buy the lead and software
Think Ducati diag is able to trim CO, not 100% but pretty sure More info on how to get the software here You'll need to cables VAG-COM KKL 409.1 OBD2 USB Cable & Fiat 3pin Alfa Lancia to 16 Pin Diagnostic Adaptor Cable OBD2 00 If its the same as 1098 you plug the cables together, attach the pos & neg clips to the battery, USB to computer and other end to diagnostic port near the battery. ducatidiag :: Connexion Should cost you about £15 for the cables. The eBay links have been removed so not sure what leads I need and the software says its for the 2009 1198 will this work on 2011 ?
You need to buy a FTDI chip based KKL lead. If you buy this one you will avoid problems USB KKL ECU DIAGNOSTIC CABLE 409.1 OBD2 II LEAD FOR VW AUDI SEAT SKODA 232BL /M | eBay
This seller is good for the Fiat adaptor 16PIN OBD2 TO 3PIN OBD1 DIAGNOSTIC ADAPTOR CABLE F FIAT | eBay
fujack, you need to register on that site. Once you have got the leads, you need to connect to ECU, get model numbers and send over to the site owner who will give you a serial key for the software.
A while since I installed it, but you might need drivers for the cables. It should then be a matter of hooking up and running the program. Anth or chrisw might be your best bet for good advice, might be worth a PM.
Don't have much experience of the diag program, but depending which ECU you are using will mean whether the trim function is actually available. Iirc only the full system DP ECU has a trim. I understand you may be able to delete the lambda using Diag, but you need the trimmer function adding in also... maybe Chrisw can help as he looks to be pretty good with the software
Nelly has raised a valid point. To adjust the CO you need the lambdas disabled. Shouldn't be a problem if you have the DP map in the ECU as they will be disabled. If wanted the lambdas can be disabled by reflash and then the CO can be adjusted.
