Ducati Glasgow

  1. Recently I have had 2 minor issues with my Ducati Panigle R.

The first problem was self inflicted. When changing over the road fairings to race fairings I forgot to connect the air sensor at the front headlight. This threw up an engine management warning on the dash.

The second problem was a minor water leak around the "squirter" (Ducati's words, not mine). This was amounting to about a teaspoonful of coolant leaking out over a couple of weeks. Only noticed due to the bike sitting still for a period. It turned out to be an "o" ring failure but did initially look like it was the bottom radiator top hose where it connects to the spitter.

Despite having not purchased the bike from Ducati Glasgow (they do service the bike for me), on both occasions they told me to bring the bike in straight away and they would have a look at it.

On both occasions I took the bike to them immediately. On the 1st instance they diagnosed the problem straight away. As soon as I arrived they hooked it up to the diagnostics machine and told me what the problem was, they even offered to fix it for me there and then even though I had created the problem. On the 2nd occasion they started work on the bike the day I dropped it off and by 11am the next day I received a call telling my the cause had been identified, a repair had been carried out and my bike was ready for collection.

The service I have received from Ducati Glasgow could not be better. I regret my initial purchase not being from them but rest assured my next Ducati will be.

Big thanks to all the Team at Ducati Glasgow.

    Davy

  4. I've never heard anything other than good things about Martin at DG. Shame he's not local for me.

  6. Oh, except that one time. He sold my girlfriend a Ducati bikini with the wrong size top and refused to swap it for the right size after she had worn it a few times.

    Seriously - that's just mean!

  7. Can thoroughly recommend them, even when I went to the dark side of italian v-twin ownership(Aprilia and Moto Guzzi) they were always willing to assist.

  8. OK, read it and re read it - do you mean he wouldn't pay for a boob job to fill it out so it fit?
