  1. Gents, been reading up on this & will do soon, from what I gather the following steps are correct? any comments advice welcome.
    Steps
    1. 3. Tension cam belts to 120Hz

2.Set engine to TDC front cyl
    2. Set crank degree wheel to read zero
    4. Shim out opening clearance on front cyl. Inlet valve
    5. Set DTI onto shim ensuring axial alignment, set dial to a whole mm reading
    6. Turn crank CCW until 1mm lift is achieved
    7. Check values
    Exhaust@1mm lift Intake @1mm lift
    Opening 66° B.B.D.C. Opening 14° B.T.D.C.
    Closing 25° A.T.D.C. Closing 73° A.B.D.C.
    8. If incorrect set crank to correct angle, loosen cam pulley & rotate to achieve 1mm on clock
    9. Lock pulley screws, recheck.

  2. That's my understanding too.
