Took the D16 to Lincoln today as it wasn't running properly on tickover. Was expecting to drop the bike off and go back to collect in a few days time. The bike was booked in for 9am, got to Lincoln, explained the problem to the mechanic, and he agreed with me that it was either a plug or a coil. He started the bike, and by checking the exhaust pipe temp determined that one of the front cylinders was the problem. He explained that to get to the plugs the radiator would have to be removed, and with that he started work. I was offered a coffee and told he would diagnose the problem. One of the plugs was at fault, and two hours later the bike was fixed and back in the van, coolant changed, oil topped up and ready to go home with me. Excellent service, I didn't expect them to do it while I waited. He did ask if I wanted the other two plugs changed, but I can do that myself. I'd removed all the bodywork to make it easier for them, but a lot of care and attention was given to my bike. They will double check the mixture/injection when I take it back for a service in the Autumn.
could not agree more, have in the past bought two bikes from italia, can't fault them. Phil, john, terry, and the rest of the crew top notch guys.
only bought parts so far from italia moto but service is a delight the guys are friendly and know there stuff would definatly recommend them
