So after having multiple discussions with the Team at DMC I decided to go with the deal. Previously as stated in the the previous thread it had looked like I'd upset Martin and the team with my post. In my opinion I did not mean for it to come a cross as it did in the way to tarnish DMC reputation. I have spoken to Martin and explained this. I have apologised for the way it had been interpreted. Going forward for the experience I received today.... Unfortunately Martin wasn't about for the next couple of days that I was due in to collect my new bike so Martin asured me that either Rob or Mike will welcome me to finish the deal. Arrived at DMC mid-afternoon to be welcome by Mike and asked if I would like a coffee while they take my bike to be assessed before the hand over could happen. While I was looking over my new bike I was approached by Chris the DMC owner who kindly asked me to his office. Chris and the team were aware of the discussion on the forum and wanted to make sure I was happy with the deal and that I didn't feel awkward being there inwhich I didn't and explained if I did I wouldn't be spending my hard earned money with them. Chris showed me how the Mileage mistake had happened and not for a second did I question it as I've said multiple times were all human and we all make mistakes!!!! No matter how great we are. Again I explained to Chris and mike I wasn't out to tarnish there reputation or cause any damage. I was only looking for other people opinions and nothing more. Soon after the technician came in to give Mike the all clear so we could complete the deal. Swiftly went through the paper and mike took my new bike to door. Before leaving I again went to Chris's office to say thank you and that I was more than happy with service I have received. Mike talked me through the controls and then we parted on a handshake . I would like to say thank you to Martin, Mike and Chris for the experience and expertise I received. Yes we had a small issue but as far as I'm concerned we had the best outcome. Anyone looking to buy a bike through DMC don't hesitate to do so as this experience hasn't put me off for any future work/purchases! Many thanks Scott

Glad you got this sorted amicably, but, I personally feel that you were a bit heavy handed going straight onto a forum and naming the business you had an issue with , IMO naming a business during a dispute should be the very last option, hopefully the positive reviews given by other customers will counter any negative effects on their business.
Fair play for having the balls to come back on here and call a spade a spade as too many people go on forums slag businesses off then are never around to say it’s all sorted. We are all human. We have good days and bad days.
My wife would possibly have a different opinion but maybe I am about 60% human. The other 40% is scar tissue, screws and titanium lol
