Hi, Having several bikes in the stables is nice, but in reality I probably have one too many and with work and family commitments ever increasing I have decided that one has to go. After much deliberation I have decided it’s time to sell my Ducati Monster 1200R. I’m the second owner and the Monster was first registered March 2019, so on a 19-plate. The bike was purchased from Ducati Nottingham. There is no outstanding finance on the bike. 2432 miles with the first service at Ducati Moto Rapido on 09/04/19 (621 miles) and second service at V-duo motorcycles Lincoln on 17/03/21 (1764 miles). The Monster is in as new condition. I care for my bikes more than I do my wife and kids! I only buy showroom quality bikes and then improve on that quality! The Monster always turns heads wherever she goes, and she sounds absolutely amazing. The bike is always stored in a brick garage, off the floor (Abba skylift) and on trickle charge. The Monster has several tasteful modifications as follows: · Termignoni slip on cans with race up map · Ducati trickle charger · DP carbon fibre exhaust shield (lacquered to match OEM carbon front fender) · DP carbon fibre Ignition cover (lacquered to match OEM carbon front fender) · DP carbon fibre rear hugger (lacquered to match OEM carbon front fender) · DP carbon fibre swingarm cover (lacquered to match OEM carbon front fender) · DP carbon fibre chain guard (lacquered to match OEM carbon front fender) · DP carbon fibre effect tank pad · Oberon clutch slave master cylinder (black) · TWS gloss black keyless filler cap · Evotech radiator/oil rad/engine guards · Evotech tail tidy · Evotech frame sliders · Evotech front spindle protectors · Evotech rear spindle protector · Evotech fully adjustable and foldable clutch and brake levers · Evotech exhaust hanger and rear peg delete · Bar end mirrors · Black anodized mirror blanks · RAM ball mount on steering damper · USB power port · Aftermarket belly pan (from USA) All original parts are included in the sale apart from the OEM clutch and brake levers which were lost by the previous owner. It comes with both keys and all standard documentation. The Monster has only ever run on premium fuel. I’m located near Lincoln so viewings are welcome and I can also send further photos and videos if required. I’m only listing the bike for sale on this forum for now as I would much prefer it go to enthusiast then some plonker that has no idea what they’re buying!! I'm asking £11,500. This is not the cheapest ‘R’ you can buy nor is it the most expensive but considering the condition and modifications it will get you one of the best Monster R’s in the UK (might be a bit biased there!). Thanks for your time and please PM me if interested, and/or if you have any questions.
Unfortunately yes. It was either the Monster or Aprilia that got the chop and I'm not selling the Aprilia any time soon.
