In that case it is a rare part and there are very few around. Whether that makes them worth so much I am not so sure. Are you contemplating buying them? if so there are cheaper options for carbon air tubes and a filter set-up.
Yes I'd like them pretty much, and the original performance parts should fit well. What's the cheaper option and do they fit properly? Same carbon wave as the performance tubes? Cheers
I have some big bore carbon air tubes that have indicator holes and I use these in conjunction with an in airbox set of filters. I machined some small alloy blocks and fitted them inside the air tubes to allow them to be clipped in like the originals. The only down side, if you can call it that is that you need a top fairing with larger intakes to match the tubes. As this is primarily for a track bike it's not a problem for me, but it is harder to find a road bike version unless you cut the holes for the headlamp yourself. You could just use ordinary road tubes and fit aftermarket filters from the likes of BMC or Piper. Even new they will work out cheaper than the DP ones. Here's an eBay ended listing for a 748R airbox that has BMC filters fitted, this might give you an idea what I mean. DUCATI 748R CARBON AIRBOX INCLUDING NEW BMC FILTERS LOOK | eBay
