evening all. Just picked up a mint pair of DP CF mirrors for my bike but it's missing one of the 4 pins / studs. Would anyone know if they're still available from Ducati or even better, would anyone have a spare one to sell? Cheers, Ian
If you mean the hexagonal studs that are in the mirror bodies they are not replaceable as they are cast into the mirror it seems on a standard set of mirrors. If yours are some sort of aftermarket fit then you may get one from the manufacturer as they could be using a different way of fitting the studs into the mirror body. I have a standard mirror in the same condition but have not yet bothered to see what ways round the problem are available. A cursory glance suggests it's not a quick fix. The other option would be to machine one on a lathe.
Cheers mate. Both are the screw in type. I know this as I got a new pair of std mirrors from Rosso Corse a while ago and had to play about with the stud length to get it right. Seems like its hexagonal so the stud can get screwed in or out for the right length. The DP mirrors uses longer studs. I'll give Ducati Leeds a ring in a bit.
