Someone had a todo with them not sure what tho, never been so don't really know them but might go over and see what I think
Thanks panigale666 there appears to so question marks over most dealers! I've yet to see anyone say they've used someone for the last 20 years and never had a problem!!
They are part of the same group as DMC Preston & Ducati Manchester. My personal experience at Manchester has been very mixed ( I find service ok , yet feel the polar opposite about sales). I would be cautious if the same ethos runs through to the new site. The inconsistency of service levels is very frustrating, sometimes I feel if you are part of an accepted inner circle & your face fits you are sorted. As always, you are likely to get mixed reviews depending on people's individual experiences. Just my opinion, good luck & if you do try (buy) from them let us know how you get on. ( Aftersales is the true indicator).
Unfortunately your business is only as good as your staff and DMC Stoke sales bod lacked knowledge and could not do anything without martin's say so. I'm not going to go into detail but i had a right episode with them @ manchester even from the start it wasn't good and went downhill very fast and whilst Chris seemed a decent fella to start with it all went pear shaped and he never kept his promise, conflicting emails from Chris and senior staff, it was all very unprofessional and messy and whilst I was prepared to give em a second go, a certain sales bod took it upon himself not to honour this and gave a shitty excuse when in essence they can't deliver a premium service. There remark they like to use is they have many happy customers and will continue to and sell more Ducati's then any other dealer, but Google search brings up a lot of unhappy customers as well, I still have every email and what they deem as acceptable is certainly questionable. I brought from Ducati Reading, josh fidler and the buying experience was totally opposite to that of DMC, they could learn a lot from this guy and so professional.
