Some truth in that I reckon, Indian investment companies would see this type of marque as a very addition to their portfolio. Not fully convinced its the right thing for the brand but it depends on how hands-on they want to be. If it brought a load of investment and racing money and left the management alone to continue then all good in my opinion. We will see how that pans out. N.
VW are also looking at Ducati...they bought Suzuki and want to seel it off but no one wants it, so the aim is to add a premium brand like Ducati to it and sell the whole lot off...ie if you want Ducati, you have to take Suzuki too.......but Hero are the worlds LARGEST motorcycle manufacturer so dont discount them.......
