Dutch snack bar.....where

  1. Does any one know of a dutch snackbar here in the south UK, we used to have one in Ringwood, Hants.

    The Frikadellen und frites are calling me......

  8. When my Dad lived out in Spain there was a Dutch guy who had a toasted sarnie stall.

    They where to die for !
    Basically a heart attack on a hot plate :)

    The Americans make it similar ..
    It involves butter .... And plastic cheese.

    That really rubbish processed stuff.

    You have to butter all the sides of the white crap bread .
    Effectively fry one side of each of the bread slices flip it over and on the cooked side put your 2 slices of plastic processed cheese then put your sarnie together then making sure the outer sides of the bread that have yet to be cooked are buttered as well ,cook one side giving the sarnie a squish with the fish slice thing.
    Then flip it over and do the same .

    Considering its made from cheap white bread and plastic cheeses it tastes good!!
    This Dutch guy did cook them really well.
    Or maybe it was because I'd rolled out of a bar tanked up on San Miguel or La Mumbas.
