I don't know what changes have been made to the DVT engine since i rode a demo last summer but its a very different and better feel now to then. Far more urgent and eager. ...so much so i picked my new 1200S up yesterday.
My slightly used (500 mile bought, 3000 now) unit has been pretty good. But I find it's geared quite high for mundane US speeds. Yesterday installed 14 tooth sprocket and what a difference! I like the dVT engine at 4000 plus revs. It will pull at low revs it just doesn't like to. So for me this is a cheap, but very good, improvement. This same fix has worked for three monsters previously owned.
