Anyone on here used dynavolt batteries? My mrs bike needs a new battery on her cbr 125 , got the bike out of hibernation and the motobatt that’s in it won’t take a charge. She maybe getting rid of it so don’t want to spend a fortune on a Yuasa etc.
the Motobatt could be saved using the correct charger. http://www.m.motobatt.com/FAQ-MotoBatt-Battery-Charger&p=68&b=60
Manufactured by Chinese industrial giants Guangdong, so likely to be fitted to many of the Honda 125 clones. If you are not going to keep it, the Dynabolt seems a cost effective option. Andy
Tried reviving the motobatt with a ctek charger that I use on my bike, it’s been on all week but I’m afraid it’s knackered!
i'm just attempting to resurrect an old heavy duty lead acid battery on a car myself now, sat flat for about a couple of months. Early signs look promising.
I revived a Motobatt on my Honda last year, my Oxford intelligent charger wouldn't touch it so I tried a cheap £9 trickle charger and it revived it no problem, the intelligent chargers don't seem to recognise a completely flat battery. Steve
