Dynavolt Batteries

  1. Anyone on here used dynavolt batteries? My mrs bike needs a new battery on her cbr 125 , got the bike out of hibernation and the motobatt that’s in it won’t take a charge. She maybe getting rid of it so don’t want to spend a fortune on a Yuasa etc.

  2. Manufactured by Chinese industrial giants Guangdong, so likely to be fitted to many of the Honda 125 clones. If you are not going to keep it, the Dynabolt seems a cost effective option. Andy

  3. Tried reviving the motobatt with a ctek charger that I use on my bike, it’s been on all week but I’m afraid it’s knackered!

  4. shame, how long did it sit uncharged roughly out of interest?

  5. About a year, my own fault should have kept it topped up or got her out on the bike.

  6. i'm just attempting to resurrect an old heavy duty lead acid battery on a car myself now, sat flat for about a couple of months. Early signs look promising.

  7. I revived a Motobatt on my Honda last year, my Oxford intelligent charger wouldn't touch it so I tried a cheap £9 trickle charger and it revived it no problem, the intelligent chargers don't seem to recognise a completely flat battery.
