  2. I'll pm you later when i get in, with all the details.

  7. Sorry mate...All yours...:upyeah:

  8. brave move buying second hand electronic gear off ebay, you have very little recourse if it goes wrong

  9. iv termi carbon end cans dp ecu and dp filter fitted and would like a standard set up for future use...ie if mot ever requires it or if im selling and new owner wants it.not particulary keen on buying from egay but wanted to know is it possible to use a second hand ecu and how.

  10. Only joking Gaz.....:upyeah:

  11. As in the PM....you could get every thing supplied from the guys on here, and ChrisW I'm sure could be bribed by crossing his palms with silver into doing the immo removal flash if you don't want to do it yourself.....

  12. think in light of all this i might stick with set up i have. many thanks for the help though.

  13. You give up too easy. My 1198S is currently running on an eBay ECU flashed to the DP map with Exup off. The stock and DP are stored safely away. With the newer bikes there are no immo issues as this is taken care of by the dash. A second hand 1098S ECU will plug straight onto your bike and work (would benefit from a TPS reset). ECU's off 848/HM/SF/1198 would require a map reflash to suit. £40 should pick you an ECU up off eBay.
