  1. I'm sure this will be well known but I'm so pleased with Hilltop Motorcycles I thought I would share my experience.

As a newcomer to Ducati (on a Budget) I recently bought a 2014 twin spark was delighted with almost everything but the biggest bug bear was the bottom end fueling / performance.

After a trip to Hilltop, they have made the bottom end much much better, makes it easier and a lot more pleasurable to ride. Top end improved by a couple of horses but its the bottom end I wanted fixing and it really has.

At 2000 rpm torque up from 20 ft lb to 58 ft lb and at 3000 rpm up from 50 ft lb to 67 ft lb (All figures are approximate and could differ from dyno to dyno ;) ) peak torque now 89 ft lb, with gains across the whole rev range.

    Take it easy

    TB :):)

  2. Sounds great...what did they do? I need my 2010MY MTS done to smooth out the low rev range

  3. Here's an extract from their website
    "
We call ourselves 'remappers' because that is the colloquial term that everyone understands, but actually we write engine management software. This is much more complex, time-consuming work but means we have several advantages over conventional remappers:

    1. We don't touch the original factory software, so there's no chance of us ruining your ECU. Our software goes onto unused space on the ECU and interacts with the original software as necessary (to allow functionality such as immobilisers, ABS braking, traction control etc.)

    2. We're not stuck with the legacy of anything the manufacturer creates that's less than ideal in functionality (some manufacturers' software is much better than others).

    3. Our software is self-learning, so you can change exhausts, air filters etc. without needing the ECU programmed again. This also means that the bike will perform optimally in all climates and at all altitudes.

    4. Our software is invisible and cannot be seen by your dealer or anyone else, so your warranty will not be affected."

  4. I had my Kawasaki 1400 GTR remapped by them, awesome job, heaps smoother and great power increase. Recommend.

  5. I wonder if they can do a DVT yet ?

  6. He did a Kawasaki H2 SX while I was there so I'm pretty sure he can do the DVT

  7. I will probably get my 1260 run in and take it across to these guys, you hear nothing but good stuff about the services they provide!! Might as well have it running as good as possible from the beginning!!

  8. Hi, I spoke to Geoff the other day via F/B site and he says DVT no problem but the performance gain is hard to notice because of the DVT system, but I think most people want the lower end smoother which is what he can sort.
