Hi. In about a month I am getting Spark Evo exhaust for 2005 749. Manufacturer claims that tune is not needed but somehow I would rather do it. As I have found there is no possibility to buy power commander for this bike anymore. What kind of alternatives do I have or is maybe someone selling PC for my bike?
Android TuneECU will allow you to flash a Ducati Performance map to your ECU. Does the new setup come with a new front link pipe? The bike has two catalytic converters. The vertical one is built into the stock exhaust and the horizontal one is built into the link pipe. If you do not have the decatted link pipe you will be running with one cat on the horizontal.
I know I'm a month late (Sorry!), is there an update to this? I've recently purchased a 2005 999S with ~2000 miles and was hoping to fit a bigger exhaust and an ECU tune as well. Spark (the full system, without cat) was one of the systems I have been considering, since coming across the titanium Akrapovic WSBK/ LV Corsa systems seems almost impossible. Is the quality of the exhaust good? Likes/dislikes? Did you end up settling on an ECU tune (Ducati Performance/race tune?)? Thanks!
