  1. So, as above the hyper is in a few pieces at the moment....nothing bad but all good....while im fitting a new alloy subframe....over the years ive added x amount of electrical additions...

    1. Optimate Trailing charging cable.
    2. QS
    3. Custom replacement handguard indicators with combined running lights.
    4. (Today) Aux USB at the handlebars
    5. Heated grips...
    6. Denali soundbomb - needs its own relay.
    7. GPS tracker

Renovating my old mans bike taught me a shed load about motorcycle electrics but probably only about 5% of all of it (my guess) - any way ive decided to get one of those fuseboxes....notably this one

My main question is, on there, theres a relay - can i utilize that for the soundbomb? and if i could how would i integrate the 4 wires from the current relay (2 for the switch) and i think 2 for the power. Or, does the fusebox relay (not work that way).

Look forward to anyone that can throw a bit of light on the subject

  2. As I understand it the relay can be ignition switched so that some of the available fuses are only active when the ignition is on. Horn relays are usually activated by the horn circuit to switch power directly from the battery to the horn, via suitable fuse. Without more information about the Fuzebloc it's not really possible to confirm whether it could configured to do this.

  3. Just had a read of the spec. This bit is about the constant (battery)12V & the switched (i.e. from ign switch )12V. I reckon it's reasonably clear that the relay is used for this switched 12V

'...One is wired directly to the battery for constant power and the second fuse block is wired through a relay battery for switched power...'

and I think 'relay battery' is a typo - should just be 'relay'

  4. Oh - hang on - that means if you don't need any 'switched 12V' you could use the relay for the horn.

  5. Hey Keith ! - im lost..!

  6. Ive ordered one anyway....ive got so much extra electrical stuff at the front of the bike i need it no matter what...but, if i can run the horn through it thatd be great if i could...
