  1. tell me.....

Where can I get the spec for bolts on the bike ( 848 ). Lets say I want to replace the footpeg bolts, brake calliper bolts etc.

Is there anywhere tha I can order specific or how do I go about making sure I have the right lenght bolt, thread and the said bolts will take the strain / tolerances I need them to ?

    tks

  3. NP. Oh, get a set of verniers too. All of these are handy as fuck. That way you can shop at any place that sells fasteners and be assured you ask for the correct ones.

  4. Bootsam is bang on. Most Fasteners will be standard Metric but if the 1098 is anything to go by there are some Metric Fine used too (the sidestand retaining plate fasteners for a start).

Clock gauge or digital calipers are easier to use than verniers and reasonably priced these days.

Its a cheaper way in the long run take the bolts out one at a time measure put them back and move on, way cheaper than paying pro bolt or the like who inevitably never get it 100% right anyway

Not sure if you really need the Zeus pamphlet you should be able to get all the pitches for Metric off the web, that said its a bloody little handy thing to have
