Engine Difference Between 2015 Monster 1200 And 1200s

  1. Hi

    Hopefully someone maybe able to help?

    I'm still on the hunt for a good standard monster 1200 engine and have found a 1200s of the same year.

    Does anyone know if it will go in and run without any issues?

    I have read it has a few extra ponies but not sure if it's engine components or ECU.

  2. I'm pretty certain the engine will fit. There might be a difference in the cams but I think the performance gains are mainly through the ECU map.

  5. I thought the main difference was to the 1200r? Oval intakes etc with plus 15bhp….
