Just got back after 2500 miles of France and Spain. The multi wes superb for the trip. Only thing was the engine warning light illuminated just after getting into France. And when the enduro option was selected the suspension didn't do its normal trick? Taking it back to ducati Mcr for a coat of looking at. Anyone here had similar, before the wallet takes a bashing?
Come on people's! ... No replies?... Well anyway those good lads at ducati manchester saved me a small fortune today... But I'm not going to say how! Cheers.
Don't tease us too long or I'll delete the thread! lol ......and tell us more about the trip ;-) Photos/ ;-)
Sorry I'm sworn to secrecy.... But I would recommend taking out extended warranty... That's all I'm saying on the subject. The trip went to plan stayed in various types of accommodation from the cheap and cheerful to a wonderful chateau where the bikes were kept in a barn under our room The best roads were from figueres to zaragoza over the Pyrenees 70 miles of hair pin roads in 1st and 2nd gear. Very trying but very rewarding. Found a fantastic restaurant half way over with a massive buffet and only the 3 of us there. We met our wife's in madrid where we all went to our friends wedding and spent the next few days recovering visiting the city's art gallery's. apparently photographing piccasso's guernica is forbidden? The trip home was pure slog 11 hours in the saddle. Highly recommended (holiday). I've dropped the films off at the chemists this morning...so can't wait to see them!
id be interested in the roads in the pyrenees as I'm heading there in august with my son and any grub places
"Sorry I'm sworn to secrecy.... " - reads as - Dealer approached DUK and replacement Dash unit agreed FOC as good will gesture and you just pay for the labour Sounds like a great trip.......films?.....wot?! :-O .....you not heard of digital mate?! lol
>> "a puzzling or inexplicable occurrence or situation........a person of puzzling or contradictory character" ...yes....that's me! lol
We cant help it if our bikes haven't had that fault. And I don't want to know anyway so nerr :Finger:
When my Ohlins control unit failed, it was after switching into Enduro mode, on holiday in France. It didn't 'do its thing' and was stuck in Sport (no bad thing) for the next couple of thousand miles.
