I didn't watch any of it, because I am not interested, but you can't avoid hearing the result. Hilarious. What a bunch of overpaid nancy boy losers.
That's the local plod on the very important mission of picking up Chinese (food that is) apparently everyone else gets tickets for same. Maybe because they manage to block half the footpath as well its ok!
I'm only a fair weather footie fan, but you can't miss the world cup, surely? For what it's worth England played exactly as I expected them to, and the score was par for the course. Sterling and Sturridge played well, Gerro and Shrek less so.
Very good and entertaining match where England tried a lot of stuff and were really exciting. So they lost. That's football - the better team doesn't always win. I was more interested in the way they played - with so much more conviction, speed and entertainment value than during most of my life. Looking forward to the next couple of games. And if they get knocked out? It won't be the end of the world. But I reckon they have every chance. Costa Rica beat Uruguay and we are quite capable of beating either of those two. And the real advert for The Beautiful Game was the Spain - Holland match which was sublime. So far, this has been miles better than any World Cup of the last 20 years, even if it's early days. Teams seem to want to win, rather than settling for tedious draws.
