Hi all, After bit of guidance please, have done a TPS swap and reset. Now getting 1.2 error, Ignition on and twist the throttle light goes off on dash. Ignition on and light on same error code twist throttle goes off again. Anyone any idea what to check/try next? Read that ECU could be a goner? thanks in advance Adam
Error 1.2 means TPS signal short circuit to ground. That means the ECU isn't getting a signal from the ECU or the output from the TPS is at ground potential. I know that you can't mechanically adjust the position of the TPS on these bikes but it seems that the wiper is all the way round to the ground position when the throttle is closed. Perhaps something to do with the way you have fitted it?
