I left my bike for about 2 or 3 weeks after normal running and when I came to start it I noticed the engine warning light and the display "Errors" and in the centre of the circle "Engine". Meanwhile the bike starts and runs but the throttle is notably hesitant when revving up from idle (idle is also smooth). Bike is 2 months out of warranty which I couldnt renew due to the Ducati extended warranty closure so obviously Im feeling a bit sensitive. Will take bike to dealer but they "are very busy and dont know when they can look at it" I can take it and leave it there though and they will "see what they can do". Any ideas?
It wasnt an EXBV error, it only said engine. Anyhow great news, the amazing Craig Service manager at Riders in Cardiff told me to bring the bike in today, they sorted it in under an hour, it was a MAP sensor. Can't praise Craig enough, who stands out as a beacon.
Thanks for the update. The Diavel has seen MAP sensor errors as well. Need to add this to causes of poor running.
Yes, looking back I had noticed a slight hesitance for a while on blipping the throttle from idle, I reckon its the early signs Chris.
