Whats your/the general etiquette for filtering when you're on the bike If you hear someone behind you do you; A) Move aside when you see a space and let them through Or B) Sit there with your head up your arse muttering to yourself “whoever’s behind can f*cking well wait” No right or wrong answer, just curious.
I'm usually the one stuck behind another bike. General rule of thumb is quickest bike has priority when it's safe / possible for the other rider to move over. Worst offenders here in Nottingham are bloody cyclists doing the same but never moving over
Lol thought it was just me mate. Worst offenders by far down here are the hairy arsed bike couriers on the m25, usually wearing a denim waistcoat of some description.
I was going to say i don't get the mentality that if someone's behind you and they're obviously going faster than you, you don't pull to one side and let them through, but then i thought hang on, that's almost the entire population of the cagers i pass on a daily basis right there! Thought bikers were a bit different though
Pull and let pass, happens to me on ocassion if it does its mainly a Pakistani looking delivered suicide rider. Biggest offenders of not pulling in scooter riders that would fit but because of mirrors do not followed by GS riders with full luggage, empty but all mounted to bike
If I have panniers on, I pull aside for riders on slimmer bikes. If no panniers, the issue doesn't arise.
Yeah he's probably thinking that prick on the monster will be the first to complain if his pizza is late..
