Hi all, I'm breaking my euro TD cherry in November. Can't wait. Taking all the stuff I normally take to a UK one- Tyre warmers, extension lead, chair, small selection of tools. Anyone got any pearls of wisdom on what else I need to take with me. Is it worth taking a new set of front pads(brand new set in at the moment, only done one TD)? One thing I'm not sure to do is wether to take a spare set of tyres with me and get them fitted, as I know I'll need some, or just buy some at the event. Any advice greatly appreciated! Matt
Who are you going with? If its No Limits (not sure about FE) you can pre order your tyres through their tyre geezer. As for other bits, if you scub through a set of pads in three days I suggest you buy Brembo not Cadburys.
I'm off with FE to Cartagena. I can't afford Brembos. What about Cadburys Dark chocolate instead of milk? FE mainly do Dunlop tyres. I was toying with some D211 gp racers, as I like the feel of Dunlop tyres. I asked on wednesday and am looking at about £280 for a set. Might try and get some cheaper and take them with me
put a new pair on to go, and take another rear with you..........you shouldnt need extra brake pads.....
are you packing your kit leathers boots etc in with the bike kit............cos i tend to really pack out the kit bag with stuff like other clothing that you can transfer to your hotel day 1, i also put things like red bull biscuits crisps and so on in with my kit, just to keep you going at the track specially if there aint much there like some. Means you can travel on the plane fairly light.
Good plan. I was thinking about this, just waiting to see how much space I have on the truck. Leathers and the like will be going with the bike. Any extra will be a bonus. Hopefully then all I'll have on the flight is hand baggage and won't have to pay any fees!! Matt
