It was a great little bike Jez, physically large for a 50 it was always mistaken for a 175, had a higher top end than an FS1E but slower acceleration, and I knew nothing about gearing at sixteen, thrashed it mercilessly for 12 months but it took it, just blew its tail light bulb every second week (Library photo)
Ha, very similar performance to the AP50, my mate had one and he was the only one that could stay with me on a long straight (flat) road , we’d crawl away from the others on their fizzies and then all as a group wait for Camel to catch up on his Honda SS50, happy days.
