  1. Hi All, after a phaff have all the pipes of my 916 and wondering if anyone had used anyone for pipe polishing in Essex I am colchester based, also it has carbon pipes and the brackets at the back that keep them together one has snapped so looking for a drill out and new bracket hoping someone could do both, thought it was worth asking if anyone has used anyone before fairly locally. thanks for any info in advance

  2. Throw up an image of the damaged area & exhaust. Is the material titanium/steel/stainless?

Personally I've used yoshimura stain-magic from japan & find it works well but on my new bike I will get the race-exhaust ceramic coated to stop having to faff about cleaning them.

    this is the broken part

  6. Drill out rivet. Make new bracket from ally or stainless. Install with new pop rivet.
People may have comments on material of rivets but I personally have used standard common or garden alloy rivets on a set of Termi's that have lasted 8 or 9 years with no problems whatsoever.

  7. Thanks I will do that

  8. i go to reality motorworks in bristol. bit of a trek but their workmanship, prices and customer service make it worth the effort. WP_000065.jpg WP_000071.jpg WP_000487.jpg

  15. At £60 it's a bargain. I polished my own on my 916 but it is dirty, messy job and it probably took me around 8 hours all in.

I started on the Monster's pipes and then gave up because I just couldn't be bothered with the mess again...

  16. I agree...at that price it ain't worth getting your hands dirty!

  17. And your workshop, face, hair, clothes, lungs and inside of your nose...
