Evening all, I have just removed the cat to fit a decat pipe and noticed the colour of the soot is different between the horizontal and vertical cylinder. Bike runs ok but is it normal? Horizontal cylinder is black and vertical cylinder is white
Could try looking at the plugs for colour. If they reflect the same thing would seem to indicate a problem. Could try taking the temperature from each cylinder when running with infra red thermometer see if one is running hotter than the other.
