Exhaust Valve Butterfly

  1. I'm thinking of taking out the butterfly valve out of my bike 899 with Termi's fitted has anyone done this and what did you fill the holes in with?

  2. U mean actually taking the hardware out? Rather than just disconnecting it as is the way when fitting the termi's?

I imagine u need to change the mid section, perhaps u can't weld some plates on there are cut off the pivot points, but seems a lot of work, why do u want to do that?

  3. Yep the hardware out of the pipe I've seen the holes plugged with bolts but was thinking of getting them welded

  4. Finally got round to fitting the pipe but not tested it yet, possibly might modify the one I took off and stick it on eBay

  5. Hi Pani, i have just fitted Termi end cans on my 1199S re-maped with tune boy software which keeps the valve open all the time, so the flap does not need to be removed, so an easy job to re-fit standard cans if i sell it

  6. Cheers mate I know that, it's only small pipe which dead easy to swap over and removes the small restriction that the open value makes
