it all kicks off again tomo in Oz,,, so much potential for this year,,,,,, SNiko has the edge in FP , looking forward to qually tomo and race on sunday,,,, go Lewis.
Ohhhhhhh... The Shamilton fan club are off again already... I may have said this before once or twice, but I can't stand that whinging, whining git... I really hope that the other teams have caught up this year. And - even as a lifelong Ferrari supporter, I actually hope Williams can take the fight to Merc this year... Massa was robbed of the title in 2008, it would be good to see him get another chance at it... IMO, obviously... Feel free to disagree...
It does look as if Mercedes will be supreme again this year. At least there should be another epic battle between Hamilton and Rosberg. It would be hard to better 2014's contest but let's hope. The battle for the rest does look like a good match between Ferrari/Williams and Red Bull. Hopefully McLaren will be up to pace by mid season and getting ready to compete with Mercedes in 2016. Alonso does seem to have an Albatross around his neck. I still can't see him and Ron Dennis working amicably together this season. There's going to be fireworks!
I love F1, its an up close personal sport. You get to meet the drivers, managers, team bosses and if you have a car, drive around on the Friday night.
I've watched it for years and really miss the days of the 3.5 V8s, V10s and V12s all taking advantage of their own individual strengths. The rules have all got too tight so it's harder to make up for a deficit in one area with an area your cars better. Even my favorite Motogp days were with the 990s where you had I4s, V4s and the V5 all bringing their own style of race to playground. Not saying Marquez isn't the most jaw dropping rider I've ever seen though, my spectacles aren't that rose tinted. I'm not too worried about who wins F1 in the end, so long as I get to watch some good close racing. When was the last time it wasn't just the best car that won in the end. Not like when Rossi won with the inferior Yamaha or Stoner on the Ducati. Now that was racing.
Daaaaaymn :Woot: Now there's a thought for making F1 interesting. Leave the drivers on the grid and let the brolly dollies drive. Oh the champagne spraying would be epic.
I was wondering why J button was so up beat,, then I realised that he had just achieved his first victory of the season,,,,,,, out - qualifying his team mate ...( not just any team mate but the one whom he got the controversial shout over for the coveted second seat this year ) hopefully he will get his second victory tomo by also beating him in the race,,
