I have just completed a 1700mile trip through eight countries in 10 days, I was a bit concerned reading all the negatives posted about the Multi, I just wanted to say it was brilliant, stunning, awesome!! The scenery was great too! The only concern I had was I had to top up the oil!! Averaged 52.3 miles to a gallon
I had to top up oil on my last EU trip, certainly more than I would want to see burnt, oddly enough it hardly uses any running it around locally, it just seems the long motor way runs at the higher speeds is where it must burn
Nice to hear that you had a (very) positive experience. Any photos? Which countries did you visit? As for the consumption, I change oil every 6K (kms) and never had to top up. It seems it doesn't consume ANY oil. The sighting glass tells me it's always just under maximum. It's a '11 model with 43K on the dash.
