1200 Farewell

  1. The head has ruled over the heart, and the Multi is going going... gone... well, up for sale anyway.

After a mega busy time of working and house hunting, we've now moved, but the new place doesn't have a garage (yet), so the bike has to go, especially when I also say that the baby is due in August. The heart says "keep", but the head says "don't be a wally, you won't ride much this season"... so it's going.

The good news is that I'll be in the market for another bike in the Spring, so that'll be something shiny and new. I loved my MY10 and MY13, cracking bikes, despite the "niggles" ... ahem...

Thanks all, and I'll see you around.

  2. You'll be missed here David.....had noticed that you've been quiet for a while.

Congrats on the forthcoming addition.........and commiserations on the loss mean time - off course the lack of garage needn't be a problem ;-)

  3. Thanks Andy.... :) And yes, that's exactly what I'm going to build... except I need to create a pad in the back garden, and access to it from the footpath to the rear (no front access)... that isn't going to happen in the next 6 weeks, and then the baby will arrive, so realistically not much riding at all for me this season... the bike should go to a good home where it will be ridden. Never fear though, I'll be definitely buying a new bike in the spring, and it'll almost certainly be a Ducati... an MY15 Multi... a Monster 1000S, a Scrambler... maybe even a stripped down Panigale if they release it... I always loved the Streetfighter... SWMBO isn't likely to be going pillion for a while, so there are options... and I'll still be here "lurking"... ;-) Can't let all that Multi knowledge go to waste... :)

Oh... and I'm also changing my work, hence being mega busy all the time... that should hopefully calm down by Sept or so...

  4. House move, baby......and change of job..............I bet the stressometer is going to be peaking regularly!

Lurk away :D ..........and chip in as often as possible ;-)

  5. All the best for the future David. Sounds like you have a busy summer ahead.

  6. Thanks John, I think you might be right! ;-)

I'll still be lurking, and I'll be checking out the rest of the Ducati range before deciding what to get in the spring... :)

  7. Don't be a stranger Dave :)
