I hope it’s got a serious side to it rather than him just doing silly stunts such as destroying a field with a V12 powered plough while bellowing “Powwwaaaaahhhh!”. I like his stuff but sometimes he caricatures himself a bit too much
From what I’ve watched of his solo stuff it should have the serious with a little bit of humour, I would imagine this will follow the same format. From what I can gather from printed references it should open the public’s eye on what farming is truly like hopefully.
My eldest lad has had a closer view of this project by Clarkson than most as he works and lives nearby in the local farming community. And as he's involved with educating farmers in ecological farming practices and land management, the company he works for have had some minor involvement. It would appear Clarkson is taking it seriously, but I'd imagine that wouldn't make very good telly and ratings, so Brand Clarkson will probably kick in for the shows, which in some ways is a shame. Nasher.

I'm sorry, but for me, this guy is a completely self-indulgent, cretinous arsehole. I couldn't stand him when he was presenting Top-Gear on the BBC and certainly won't be allocating any of my valuable time looking in on another of his self-promoting diatribes. I'm not usually this vocal about TV 'personalities', however, I simply couldn't resist adding my 'thoughts' on this one......

I'm looking forward too it, not a massive clarkson fan but thought he came across well and actually did put the work in.
To be fair I thought it would just be him being an arse for the sake of entertainment but in the most part it wasn’t, and when it was I was like “well if I had a load of fields and a 4x4 Bentley continental then I’d rag it around my land too”
It's an amazing series, Gerald is just legendary Honestly, it's really very good, clearly if you don't like Clarkson you'll post on here raging about how insulting it is to farmers (see guardian review) but that's bollocks, it's great viewing and really quite a nice thing to watch at times Best thing I've watched in ages.....apart from a few bits on pornhub......farming and pornhub not related......honestly
worryingly my missus born and raised in Swindon and mostly on a farm can understand pretty much everything he says! But I just think he’s mad!
