  1. Im looking to replace some of the fastenings and fittings which have lost their lustre, specifically, front axle pinch bolts, front abs sensor bolt, rear wheel hub nut and locking wire clip.
Theres a few other bits also which i cant remember offhand, question is where to get them from?
Do people use regular hardware suppliers locally where available, or online specialists like Probolt (prices are insane).

  2. Tricky one tbh. Ducati dealer probably the best bet or get a good bucket full replated at the same time.

  3. I’ve not seen an aftermarket rear wheel nut safety clip but dealer supplied is cheap enough, dealer supplied rear nut is about £35. Lots of talk about tensile strength of different grades of stainless and whether a decent crap will save you more weight than titanium bolts. Try Racebolt, https://raceboltuk.com/, for stainless bolts and eBay for cheaper steel rear wheel nut. Andy

  4. I have Pro-Bolt close to me, in Tewkesbury, and have used them a few times. Helpful when I visited sorting out the correct length for my front calliper retaining bolts considering the RoadLock on one side. As to front spindle pinch bolts I bought a bag of the appropriate size from the hardware shop across the road from my house and they've stayed far brighter, for longer, on both of my 1260s than the OEM ones. Also bought a selection of OEM fairing/panel bolts from @nelly of this parish when ordering other items a while back.
