With all the recent interest in the H2R Kawasaki it got me wondering what a Ducati Forum Collectives favourite bike brand would be. I did think of doing all brands other than Ducati but that would have been pretty much impossible I think, so... which is your favourite Japanese brand overall out of the big 4 (before anyone says Bridgestone, who incidentally were destroyed by Honda threatening not to use their tyres unless they closed down their bike production) at least that's what I think I read many moons ago.. so, here we go...
Always had good experiences with suzuki from motorcross to the GSXR's. Had more suzuki's than any other manufacturer in my time.
Love my Suzuki's too, just have Kawasaki 1st due to my earlier times I guess... although my first bike was an RD250LC which was fantastic at 17
Suzuki for me, only had a couple but they were great bikes. I would love a TL1000R in my stable one day, I know they aren't that good but they look and sound the dogs danglies!
 so does that double post mean you wanted 2 green Kawasaki's - always best, that's why I'm building two...
Owned all except a Kwak. Suzukis have the best gearboxes, Honda has the best build quality but I find there is just something about Yamaha that keeps dragging me back. Maybe because I started out on an RD-50?
Kawasaki My first was a 250 triple then a couple of ZXR 750's and the last one was a ZZR 1100. The 250 triple is the one I have the fondest memories of but they were all good bikes
Suzukis for me,my early gs1000's,gsx7-11's and gsxR's were great fun,all my early kwacks were made of chocolate and that fk puke green color ,and hondas were just boring ,and back then just as unreliable as anything else, early yams were horrible,xs's etc(not inc strokers)getting better only with the fj's imo. still prefer non jap mostly.
This one - think they came out about the same time as this song as I can remember singing along with the words 'gotta ride a z1000 classic'.
