Few Problems

  1. Took the old girl ( 1100 s ) over to France for four days recently. Done well considering it’s not a tourer, but just got a few questions.
    Got a rogue lead on right horizontal cylinder arcing, never done it previously but got caught in a heavy downpour while in France & it’s done it since. Any recommendations for leads or do I just replace the one that’s crap?

    understandable. After four days of riding my arse was killing me. Had the DP race seat on & forgot I had the standard one sitting in garage before I went. Is the standard seat anymore comfortable on long journeys? Also I was wearing armoured jeans & im thinking that might be partly towards the sore arse. Not that I’m expecting it to be a majorly comfy bike. But I’ve seen somewhere, maybe on here that someone modded the seat with a gel insert.
    Although the bike was more than good enough for the pace, I found the wind buffering above 70 pretty unbearable. Again I know it’s not a tourer but is there any decent looking screens to be had for the old 1100’s. Some of the aftermarket ones are hideous.
