Finding It Difficult To Place The Multi V4s On The Workshop Lift.

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by johnny, Jan 9, 2026 at 12:12 PM.

  1. As per title, I find the multi with it’s high bars tough to get up the ramp and onto the lift bed.

I thought of a wheeled paddock stand with brakes on the wheels and or a winch. I also got a front wheel vice stop, but found that tought to line up.

    Any suggestions are welcome

  2. How high is your table when fully lowered to the floor?

Would 2 or 3 scaffolding boards laid alongside give you something to step up onto as you move the bike up the ramp thus keeping you more or less at the same height in relation to where you’re holding the bike.

  3. Thanks Paul, I shall measure it - it does appear high. Yours was a good idea. My hands are a level with my sholders
