  1. hello all

    pick up my 899 tomorrow
    after many years of wanting a ducati, I finally get one
    had a hankering for a twin for a few years and was blown away by the test ride.
    after a very underwhelming test ride on a 1290 superduke

  7. The 899 is gonna be a big club me thinks not like the red 848 evo corse se which is very exclusive haha

  10. this is one of the reasons i went for the red
    as had a plan about sticking some tricolore decals on it
    assume you have already done it?
    got any pics?

  13. No - had them done by the dealer when I bought it.

    Anyway get your own colour scheme ;)

  15. picked it up saturday
    not done that many miles on it yet, mainly due to football hangover
    but also down to the brakes
    something not quite right with them, going to be taking it back to the dealer today
    just feels like there is air in the system, as having to pump them to get them to bite
    not really what you want on a brand new machine!

  17. Not cool mate! Hope they sort it out!! I know a few have said that the ABS system can 'trap' a tiny bit of air in some cases but should be a quick fix.
