Went for my first decent ride out this evening primarily to scrub in my new tyres. I have to say it took a bit of getting used to, possibly due to the new rubber but after 30 or so miles it started to feel a bit more settled. I think after a couple of rides I will gell with it. Hopefully!
I'm sure you will, I really like mine, but it is so different to my 1299. My wife much prefers going on the back of the Multi, and it's a lot easier to ride with a passenger. Obviously it's more comfortable, but so much heavier, and nowhere near as quick, but it is about 50 odd hp less, feels very top heavy when moving it about but once riding I don't notice it. One problem I have found is that it's now very easy to wear toe sliders out as the pegs are nearer the ground.
Yeah, certainly different to my other bikes but it will be better for my wife, which was the reason for buying it.
