Hello, I'm fairly sure I know the answer here but just incase...is there any way of fitting a hugger which has a chain guard to it to a 748 without having to take the wheel off?
I did mine without taking anything off over winter, had to wiggle it in a bit, but not force it. It may depend on the product you bought though as they may be slightly different sizes.
Cheers I can't see a way of how I could carefully get it on. Did yours have a chain guard built in too or was it just the hugger? Mine seems to have a lip that goes under the bike and is bolted there.
Mine replaced the chain guard and used the 2 bolt holes and there was a lip the stuck out that just site under the rear shock on swing arm. Pretty sure was from these guys: DUCATI 748 916 996 998 CARBON FIBRE REAR HUGGER AND CHAIN GUARD IN PLAIN WEAVE | The Electrical Wholesaler
How did you get it under the swig arm? Can't see how's that's possible, think I need another good look on Saturday, unless mine is different to yours.
